Hamilton Chamber of Commerce Annual Recognition Awards
Each year at Supper Under the Stars we recognize the hard-working small business members of our Chamber community!
Nominees for these awards are decided by a Chamber subcommittee, which includes the award recipients from the previous year.
Business Leader(s) of the Year Award
Recognizes for-profit or non-profit business leaders who have demonstrated success in both civic and professional areas, specifically in the areas of growth, leadership, achievement, and community service. Eligible candidates can be business owners or people who fill leadership roles in businesses owned by larger corporations.
Entrepreneur of the Year Award
Recognizes a business owner who has exemplified leadership and entrepreneurial skills. They show a willingness to take risks and demonstrate exceptional vision that contributes to business success. This person exhibits personal drive, focus, innovation and business acumen. Eligible candidates must be the owner of their business.
Civic Leader of the Year Award
Recognizes a business leader who shows evidence of having had a long-term beneficial impact on the community. They demonstrate civic engagement by using a combination of knowledge, skills, values and motivation to make a difference in our communities.

Heidi Eakin and Krisa Verbitsky, Village Clay

They have “shown a true entrepreneurial spirit by creating a space for creative expression.”

Civic Leader of the Year
Tucker and Colin Ray, Ray Brothers Barbeque

Business Person of the Year
